Latest Update: Flames are on. Skull painted and drying, just awaiting demonic red eyes and a lick of dark wash. Interior has first colour on and is drying ready for masking for the contrast colour. Went for Black and Red in the end, a nice Burgundy red and gloss black. Rear glass is now tinted red for the demonic look. Skull steering wheel nearly done. Detailling is minor as the body etc is pretty clean. THC

Been making some more progress on the '32. Added the main window and surround. Opted for a dark aluminium shade rather than a chrome for the surround. Also added the radiator piping and a few other minor bits. The brass finished cross braces front and rear on the chassis are copied from a car I saw up close and personal a few days ago, they may be a little bit overly thick but I like them. THe skull motif is continued through the interior with window winders, pedals and steering wheel all done with. The interior is a wip at the moment in shades of red and black. I need this finished now as I have magazine stuff to do and Telford is less than a fortnight away! THC

Need some input.
The MCG etched fret provides a set of etched skull pedals and an etched skull steering wheel centre.
Question is; leave them natural metal or paint the skulls white with red eyes?
I'm not sure if the white would be over kill.

Hi,
I'd go for white - the rest of the rod is a in your face style build - so it makes sense to carry the theme on.
Cheers,

OK, Interior finished bar the shouting. After a mild drama and a set of tyre irons (Tamiya paint stirrers) I got the body over the chassis and interior. So here it is just missing tail lights, skull for the grill and main headlights. Next photos will be in The Showroom. THC

OH and I appear to have lost the oil filler cap from the left hand bank of the V8!

The interior looks great. I'm pleased to hear you managed to fit it without having to remove anything from the shell.

Not half as pleased as I am.
Thanks for the compliment.
