well all I need now is the wheels for a rolling chassis. The steering is now done, and the emergency and clutch cables have been fitted. The under belly pan has been painted and fitted, I will fix the fastners to that when it is on it's wheels. Steve

Well the wheels have arrived, and they are superb, great job JIm. I did modify the them a little to fit. I drilled a slightly bigger hole in the center caps in the front wheels, so that they could fit on the spindles. I had to machine the back of the rears, so that they could clear the calipers. While waiting for the wheels, I continued working on the body. I played with the idea of using a deck style spoiler, but I chose the spoiler that came with the body. steve

This is where I am at now. Just waiting for some 1mm threaded rod and nuts so I can bolt on the rear wheels and 4mm magnets to keep the doors closed. There is a little more body work to do, ie improving the gaps between panels, building up and shaping around the exhausts, interior door panels. I am undecided on putting a bulge in front of and around the engine opening, that follows the lines of the front end. Still trying to work out a colour scheme for this. Still, nearly there. Steve

Well I have chosen a colour scheme, and................... you will see it when the main colour goes on. Got the wheel tubs done, and I was going to put carbon transfers on them, but chose the flat black instead. Also started to prep the body and inserted 4mm magnets to make sure the doors stay closed. Had to fix a problem with the right hand side headers. All the constant handling, loosened the exhaust. stay tuned steve

Paint is finally being laid on. I have started with a black base, with a pearl red colour coat. This will be followed by a crystal red, which is a colour changing pearl metalflake. Just waiting for a suitable size case to this in. Thanks for looking. Steve

Here is the next stage of the paint. Crystal red from Specialist Paints was applied and two coats of clear to seal it, ready for the airbrushing. Also got the case delivered, and let me tell you, it was a close thing, with 2mm clearance at each end. Steve

Cheers Lee. Got the clear coat on, and just waiting for it to cure before I polish it. Started to get the windows sorted along with the rear lights. The rear and side windows, are cut from clear sheet, the front is from an MPC 1/16 Firebird. The rear lights are two sets of custom lights from a 1/25 AMT 57 Ford. Steve

The "Soul Reaper" Pro Mod Camaro is now complete. This has been the most involved project I have ever done, and the first project that had such a lot of scratch building. It also gave me a chance to do some moulding, casting and airbrushing graphics. I have really enjoyed doing this, and really pleased in the outcome. As a footnote, the front from the MPC kit, broke, but I used the clear sheet as the rear window. I chose not to install the door windows, as they would not be able to open the doors. Hope you enjoyed this as much as me. steve More pics in the finished section.
