Got the engine done this weekend. Also got the engine in the chassis, fabbeb up a basic fuel pump for the front of the engine, glued in and painted the prop shaft. All good fun

My first, and probably last, attempt at a lace panel paint job First I painted the top of the car in Peugeot Blaze Yellow. Then I ran a strip of lace down the middle of the car, held in place with lots of masking tape. Then I painted the whole lot in a Nissan Gold. The results arn't brilliant, but not a total disaster. The lace pattern is a bit fuzzy in some areas, and there is some contamination in the paint, possibly dust from the lace ( it has been sat around for a while ). I'll see how it looks after a gallon of clear has gone on....

Made some good progress this last week. The chassis and interior are finished, and the body is nearly done, just a little more BMF, and some more (?) decals, and I'll be onto final assembly
