Hi there just working on my latest project (a convertible Skyline), fairly standard apart from the roof chop, but the idea is I want to try working on the interior. I thought some of you might like to share in how I make car mats. I use plastic packing tape. This is the thick type found on large boxes that come through the post, they are usually joined at one end and are very strong. They have a great texture to them, which you just paint to the colour you want. If you paint them metallic silver they can also be used on projects such as trailers. Hope this might be of use to some of you, and not too obvious to others. Cheers Mike Attachments:

Neat! And a great excuse for getting more parcels!

I've used it for chequer plate before (on large scale model railways ) but it looks good as the mat! Like the DVD screen too - does it work?
