Saw a feature in the latest Rod & Kulture Illustrated mag last week, and just had to build something like it  The car featured is a 1930 Model A, but all the same tricks can be used on a '34, so I dug out an old Lindberg kit and got cracking. So far the roof is chopped, body channelled over the chassis, and the is bed shortened. Next job is to bob the rear fenders and build a rear light cluster.    |

Cheers, hope to get some primer on it soon. It will still need some filling on the body mods I'm sure, and I still have to build a rear light assembly for it.

Haven't done an update for a while, so here's a little catch up. I have built a custom rear light assembly, to mimic the one on the 1:1.   I have also made tuck'n'roll inserts for the bed sides and running boards, to match the bed cover. I have also made a new distributer, as the moulded in piece was crap.  |

Thanks, Jim. The chassis will be box stock, so not really detailed, but I am pleased with how the model is looking. I've even dug out some thin band whitewalls for the front, looking nice |

Looking good there Dave. Some folks reckon that channelled bodies over full fenders look weird but I think it works.
