Stripping paint

Hi,

Anyone got any good tips for stripping paint off models, I have about 10-12 muscle cars that I want to strip the paint off and start over, I was told to use caustic soda, but this just stripped off the chrome plating, any idea's guys

I use Mr Muscle Oven Cleaner, others use Fairy Powerspray or brake fluid.

For the MM I use an old plastic sandwich box, put the parts in it take it outside and spray liberally with the Oven Cleaner. leave over night then wash in running water. Wear gloves when washing the bits
