Currently on the bench and destined for a future issue of Airfix Model World: Think the red needed to be a bit more Orange, I matched it to the box art then found online pictures of a car that appears to be a replica.  The Chassis is a real delight. THC |

A drag car in the Airfix magazine? Will you have to describe it as some top secret military test bed for the readers to understand what it is?

There'll be one reader at least who knows what it is. ;D I notice it has 2012 on the decal sheet which presumably means this is a new release. I hope so as I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one. The Chassis is a real delight. I look forward to seeing it. |

You are correct it is a new release.
It appears to be based on an earlier chassis/model. The interior is dated 2001 whilst the decals and box say 2012 and the body says 2011.
Anyway it is a lovely thing.
