I've been cursing the person who invented spray cans.
I needed to get some paint down for an online competition and thought that,,as the main colour was going to be white, I'd use Halford's finest Appliance White.
On depressing the button the can deposited about half its contents in one second flat. Lovely smooth finish but about a scale foot thick! Then the fish eyes started appearing.....
It's taken two days to get to the point where it's dry enough to start sanding the mess off - couldn't dunk it as there's too much filler in it and past experience suggests filler vs paint stripper is a contest I'm not going to win.
So, I decided to give Tamiya's White a crack at the other parts instead. Starts off fine but then, with the first coat getting tacky, the nozzle jams up and paint will no longer flow. Tried swapping nozzles but no joy, there's clearly a block in the can itself.
So I did the only sensible thing in the circumstances, fired up the Ducati and burned off a tank of fuel around the island. Much better!
How are you doing?

My mate got married this weekend, so I've been busy doing best man jobs (drinking ), but got a day off tomorrow with nought to do, so might start a 32 ford.....

Quiet again isn't it.
Lee's clearly off jump starting his love/sex life again. I'm busy with a copy deadline on a subject that will not interest you lot.
As for the rest of ya...

Isn't everyone furiously putting together absolute show stoppers for Telford?

Hi Guys,
I've been working recently on a '32 for the theme on the SIG table and have almost completed the painting of it. Might even post a thread for it as well.
I have put the pro-street pickup to one side as yet more parts need to be modified for it - I may bring it as a w.i.p. display to SMW though.
Looking forward to seeing you all in 6 weeks at SMW ... hope you can make it Lee!
Cheers,
