I just joined the forum and thought I'd throw out a happy hello from the wheat fields. I run a group for modeling on facebook and am a member of other groups. But the more one sees the more ideas one gets and learns. I'm a former race car driver, builder, pit man and general layabout. I've built models since before I had two digits in my age and have knocked out quite a few. I lost many in a fire and a lot more in a divorce. After about 15 years of not building anything I am back an suddenly doing a lot. I have a '49 Ford AMT Round 2 kit I'm building as a 1969 era Street Stock class dirt racing car, a 2005 Impala Police car Revell Snap-Tite I'm building into a racer and a 1999 Ford SVT lightning pick-up truck I'm building into a 'local racer' race car tow & push truck. For being retired on disability, I am keeping busy, aren't I? RjAttachments:

Thanks Lee. The picture I posted here shows how I used my Wind(BL)ows Paint program to use a picture of the cab and hood (bonnet) of a truck and plan out a build. Daryl Starbird is rolling somewhere at the sight! Everything else is drawn and 'painted'.

I'm learning everyday. And I have a idea for a street rod and a couple of partial kits to loose them on. You will either love or hate them.
