Styline: Which kits had what?

I've been passed a couple (about 40) of AMT/MPC/Polar Lights kits for review in the Airfix magazine amongst which are the '64 thunderbird, 61 Galaxie & the 62 Buick electra. Two of these have custom/styline options so I decided to do a big piece for the magazine on custom car styling.

Thought I'd do the Thunderbird as a moderate paint and spats job only, the Buick as a mid body mods and paint and the Galaxie with full blow Styline kit all over it.

Any way I've got well and truly bitten by the sled/low rider bug now and wondered what other kits had Styline bits in them so I can look them out for future builds.

Any info gratefully appreciated.

BTW The Galaxie and Electra are clearly derived from 'annuals' question is did they have the styling bits in them from the off or were they added later?

Not sure about Styline parts specifically, but most of the AMT annual kits from '61 through to '68 (and later) had customising parts with them. The '63 Galaxie, for example, had completely different front and rear ends in the kit which were based on Ford's full size styling exercises.

Just checking out a few kits in the stash from that era shows input (allegedly) from the likes of Winfield, the Alexander Brothers and Barris so you'd never be short of krazy kustom parts to pimp your ride (or whatever they did in those days!).

The actual "Styline" series of kits were limited to about 6 kits......but lots the AMT kits had input from the customising greats apparently with lots of additional custom parts
I can find out which kits were in the "Styline" series......but i have lots of kits with custom parts in them for comparison. I think the only true Styline kit in that little lot is the 61 Galaxie

Whats in the other Galaxie that AMT rereleased?
