First build of the year completed, and it didn't come out half bad I've had this kit for years, and not really known what to do with it, until Revell's new '48 custom coupe came out with all those cool custom bits in, then it was simple. The screen is chopped, and the rear license plate sunk into the trunk lid. The coupe donated it's entire chassis, engine and suspension. The paint is Ford Pepper Red, which really glows in the sun. The side pipes are from AMT's '50 Ford convertible, shortened to fit. Enough talking, enjoy the pics.

Nice work Dave.
Really love the paintwork. Where did you get the fine paintwork detail (is it a decal?) on rear end.
Any chance od seeing pic of underside? So we can see how the sidepipe hooks up?
Great stuff
Cheers

Hi, Guys. Thanks for the kind words on my build Guerrilla, the pinstripe decals on the nose and trunk lid come in the '48 custom coupe kit. The decal sheet is excellent, it has 2 different styles of pinstripe decals, both in red/white, black and silver (which I used), ( six pairs all together), as well as the usual flames, number plates and club plaques. The sidepipes don't connect up to anything underneath, they are just glued to the sills. Hope this helps, Dave.

Awesome - only just spotted the hood deco.
Great to hear that kit builders are putting quality decal sheets into kits.
Thanks again Dave - lovely build
