Hi Guys, Finished this one this morning - had a bit of a delay as I lost the photo-etched Ford badge for the rear. Had to order another detail set from Scale Dreams - the money won't be wasted as most of the set will be used on another '32 project (that'll hopefully be part of our '32 display at Telford this year). Here's a few pics of the finished model (the pics of the back came out fuzzy so if anyone is desparate to see that view let me know): Cheers,

Great work Jim. Nice detail on engine - presume that is not stock! Shine on the paintwork is absolutely spot on! Very nice.

Hi,
Thanks for the comments guerrilla. The speedwagon had a injected Ford small block in it that is depicted in the kit - the only addition I made to the engine in the kit was a detail master distributor, ignition wiring and looms.

That's a super job Jim. Did you dry brush the woodwork?

Hi,
Thanks for the compliment skidsolo. The wood panels are decals provided in the kit. There is woodgrain detail on the body should you wish to paint the detail that also provides texture to the decals if you go the decal route like I did. The decals needed to be trimmed close to the pattern in order for them to fit well. After the decals had dried the blue was masked and the decals & roof were sprayed with Alclad light sheen clear.
Cheers,

Hi, Jim, That has come out looking really nice. Look forward to seeing it at Telford.

Hi Dave,
Thanks - it'll certainly be at Telford, at the moment I can't decide whether it'll be on the club stand or in the competition. It depends on whether I get my project done for our '32 display or not - it'll be something a little bit different (still based on a Revell '32 though)!
Cheers,
