Hi Guys - just uploading some pics of my first project. Its the Revell Mustang GT500 2007 Shelby. Pretty good kit. Added quite a bit of my own detail and highlighted the details that are generic to kit. Lowered the suspension slightly and upgraded interior. This shot shows the suspension and mounting with wheels in place, you can see the extra brake lines that I added etc. Attachments:

Engine bay - tried to add as much detail as possible - most of the extra pipework is added once the body is on. My reference pics showed minimal wiring on view - so kept it simple as per the real thing. Attachments:

That looks like a great start. Thanks Dave. Should have it finished next week. First build for 10 years so a litle rusty (excuse the pun)

Look forward to seeing it done. I'm working on a mustang at the mo, just a little older, a 1967 fastback from AMT.

Ok - been a bit slow on this finish. I realised that the bonnet would not open fully using original bracket. So I reshaped bonnet and added a bespoke hinge and piston created from 3.5mm tubing and paper-clip. Works ok. Now I need to tidy before carrying on with paint Attachments:

HI Guys Finally got around to finishing paint work. Used a final Humbrol Metallic Blue - Enamel finish (after lots of priming and grading) Looks pretty deep - just finish with a buff and build rest of kit. Enjoy pics Attachments:
