I've always liked the idea of using a food dehydrator for speeding up the paint drying process on models.
HOWEVER, being a self confirmed meanie I never liked the idea of paying £50 plus for a commercial unit. That money is better spent on more models!! ;D
So I made my own. I think it cost me about a tenner in all.
The shelf I already had but anything perforated will do.
In the photo, I have two 60 watt bulbs but following a disaster with some small parts, I now use two 12w energy saving bulbs.
As a guide, I switch it on about thirty minutes before I need it and let a body 'bake' for about six hours.
