I've started cleaning up my Revell Ed Roth The Outlaw kit and i've four bits that are extra so I'm wondering if any of you lot can shed some light on them.
I have two, two part scoop like bits labelled 47 & 47A and 50 & 50A.
If need be I'll post some pictures but in the mean time wonder if any one can shed some light on the subject?

As they're on the trophy sprue, and Revell used that sprue for a few other cars as well, I'd always assumed they were an intake for another car altogether.
Might be wrong.

Must admit that did cross my mind but there are other bits on there specific to the Outlaw.

Well, well, well that's very interesting. Looks like they are designed to just drop fit onto the carbs on the outlaw engine. Might spray them up at the same time as the rest of the body and see what they look like fitted.
Pictures will follow...

Don't think they do an awful lot for the look of the car, same goes for those butt ugly five spoke things out the back. Seems like insult to injury really, ruining the looks of a kit that's already a right sod to build up neatly.
