www.modelroundup.com/images/lin72179.jpgIn a moment of weakness I picked this thing up (luckily not much money was involved) and I can report that the box art may be the most inaccurate rendition of what's inside, ever! Granted there's a picture of the finished model on the sides but I would love to know what the artist thought they were supposed to be painting.... the engine's wrong, the wheels are wrong, the grill is wrong etc etc and why is a five year old driving on sand in full drag race protective clothing? (the driver can't be much more than five year's old if he looks that small in a tiny car). The kit is pretty awful as a finished piece but, if you can find one cheap enough - £5 should be the absolute max, then there are some useable parts in the box; some very nice Red Ram valve covers, a frame that's lowered at both ends, the body is pretty good and so on. Let the buyer beware!

The dashboard and engine look very much like A la Kart pieces.... Are you gonna post some pics of it built up?
Dave.

Lindberg made a nice tall T coupe a while back (in fact I think it was reissued recently) at least it looked nice until I compared it to the AMT kits and realised it was 1:27 scale.
Some of their stuff was okay, some was crap.
I'd be interested to see some pics if you've got the hang of posting them yet.

Time and ability need to be overcome re the posting but, fingers crossed, this weekend should see some progress.
Sorry Dave but this is unlikely to get built the way Lindberg intended, if at all!
