Here are some pics from the Huddersfield show. We put together a really cool display, featuring some cool old model boxes, that we were very pleased with. I found these gems on the SciFi and Fantasy SIG table. These took me back to my youth. I even entered a model in the competition and came away with a trophy. Nice! Never won one of them before.

Hi,
Thanks for putting the pics up Dave, and well done with the trophy!!
I was thinking about coming up to the Huddersfield show but our youth tenpin bowling club was in a competition at Worcester on Sunday (my daughter got 2nd in her division so we got a good result there) so there was a clash of dates.
Hopefully next year I'll be able to get up and help you with the SIG table - although it doesn't look like it needs any help at all!!
Cheers,
Jim

We had a fantastic day.....we all put a lot more effort into the display after the dismal showing at Telford. We were really proud on sunday!!!!! We got a lot of interest in the display. Andy did a roaring trade in kits
We got to meet Voyager from the site.....cool guy and good to meet you !!!!!!!
Congrats to Dave for the trophy!!!!! it helps to have a judge who gets our stuff and appreciates the work thats goes into them.........Jim, the corvette was there again and got nothing.....you were robbed!!!!!
Cheers

Don't worry, Si, the next few projects are definitely old skool. Got the gasser T coupe on the go, and just dragged my '55 Chevy nomad turned pick up back out, that will be full custom.

Been away this week so haven't been able to post. It was a good (if crowded) show, for me the Rod sig display was probably the best there, not only thought gone into the display itself but also friendly and enthusiastic guys - how many of the tables had people behind them who totally ignored those looking at their displays! Managed to restrict myself to one kit purchase - sorry Andy - I also meant to thank you personally for delivering those kits but you were busy selling every time I saw you and I didn't like to interupt! Nice to see some faces though to put with names and some nice builds too.
