Hi,
I went to the Milton Keynes show and it was a good day. There were a lot of good modellers and some decent traders there.
I put three hot rods in the competition but didn't get anything - the civilian vehicle class was very diverse with a high standard of models. A mini that was weathered as if it had been abanded and diplayed on what I'd consider a diorama (but not officially classed as one as there are no figures) got gold, a Porsche racing car got silver (I believe it was the one that got gold at SMW 2010), a Subaru rally car got bronze and a Toyota rally car got highly commended.
Cheers,
Jim

Wow! If you didn't get anything Jim, either the standard was very high or someone doesn't get rods........

Hi,
The standard was very high - I wouldn't have liked judging the class. Its possible my models didn't get as many marks due to not having decals or not being weathered.
Cheers,
Jim
