This is AMT's 1959 Chevy El Camino, built mostly from the box. The engine is the kit supplied 348 with the twin blowers from the '62 AMT Corvette kit. The wheels are from the '49 Ford kit, with skinny slicks on the rear. The hood has been glued shut and moulded in, with a great big hole for the blowers, and the body has been generally smoothed, with the side trim removed. The custom body parts came with the kit.
