Hi Guys and Gals Picked this one up at the Southwell Show today. Got it from Mr Models stall on a whim. I remembered it from my Yuoof. Didn't realise that they'd had to recreate it for this issue which was quite a shock. That said fit of parts is awesome and I've part built many of the subassemblies already. Yeah the plastic choice is really interesting.
The kit appears to have been simplified over the original but that said it is actually very very nice. I shall re work some of the moulded on detail but I'm planning on using a bottle of Zero Paints Floro Red I've had stashed for just such an occasion so I doubt you'll be able to focus on the detail really.
The box side has a link to Tom's website where you can buy the kit in a box signed by the great man. Reading the website he's a really interesting guy.

Looks like I'm building this one next, Airfix ModelWorld want it for issue 3!
Correction now Issue 2, nothing like a little pressure copy deadline's Friday!

Funny you should say that but.....
Joking aside I'm going for Zero Floro Red for the body work with Dark Purple roof and chassis. The engine block is painted Tamiya Orange and I've stripped and re-chromed all the shiny bits. The seat fabrics will all be a nice rich dark red and the chickens will be chicken coloured!
