Morning All.......
After a few discussions with a couple of members we thought we could make the 2012 theme of 32 a bit more fun!!!!!
As it is show month in the states and the AMBR has just been, we thought we could have the "TMBD" competition!!!!!!
"TELFORDS MOST BEAUTIFUL DEUCE"
Public voting with a trophy presented on sunday
You have until November to build it..........start now!!!!!!
Cheers

Knowing the public at Telford, if you want to win I'd break out the matt green paint!

But only if it's the right shade of green and the right number of rivets.... Rich

Hi,
Sounds good to me - does a model have to be a new one for this show or can ones built and shown previously be eligble for the public vote?
Better make up some voting slips for the unsuspecting public! It'll be a good way to get them having a closer look at the stuff on the table so this idea should work well on several levels.
Cheers,

Hi,
Haven't started mine yet (unless you count cleaning up about 5 pieces) and need to order some stuff for it. Quite confident I'll have it done - if I don't either my speedwagon or the 32 prostreet would do as they will be fresh out.
Cheers,

See, I have started mine, it's out of the box and everything, and I've chosen the engine (block already glued together ).

Hi Dave,
Good choice of kit there! I assume the parts you have next to it (the engine and tyres) will be going onto the build - if so, it'll go well next to my red roadster as it'll show people two different build styles based on the same kit.
Keep us up to date with your progress.
Cheers,

Left it a bit late, but I'm now fully booked for Telford! It only remains to see how I can get a load of built up kits onto a plane as hand luggage, and get them off again still as built up kits......

I do have an advantage for Telford… Mother dearest only live a matter of 30mins away from the venue.
So free digs and food for the weekend.
