With my current build on hold I want an easy build to take me up to the end of the year. Looking at my completed builds it became obvious that I was woefully low on hotrods, so that's what it had to be!!! Attachments:

The roof is meant to go on the body after it has been installed over the completed floor pan and fender assembly. I don't like that idea, so with the usual jiggery pokery, I worked out a way to fit the completed body and roof assembly afterwards. Attachments:

You might not have guessed it from the completed builds on display but once upon a time we were supposed to be using that kit (or its many cousins) for a theme build. From which you can gather that:
i) you're way ahead of most of us, and ii) there are a lot of spare bits around if you ever need them!

The colour is Zero Paints Ruby red finished with two pack automotive clear. The roof is matt white underneath the masking tape. Attachments:

It baked at regulo 6 ( ) in my home made paint drying oven overnight and this morning I removed the masking tape on the roof. Attachments:
