Thanks Dave. So far it's taken about ten weeks. Had a minor disaster last night. Despite the clear sprue being sealed in a poly bag, the screen had become detached from the sprue and had suffered from 'box rash' and so needed polishing to get rid of the scuff marks. It broke almost as soon as I got started!!!!! I'm going to try making a new one from clear sheet styrene and if that fails I'll see if I can get a new clear sprue from Revell. Gonna take some time for that though methinks!!! Attachments:

It's taken SIX days to get a response from Revell, then I get this:
Alan,
This is to acknowledge receipt of your email. While we would like to accommodate you Revell does not support replacement parts for converting a kit for a NASCAR kit.
We can only suggest purchasing a kit 85-2546 if you need parts for the NASCAR charger.
We are very sorry we are unable to assist you in this instance.
Revell Inc (USA) Consumer Services Angie
What on earth has the NASCAR conversion got to do with it??
To say that I am totaly disgusted with Revell's whole treatment of this, would be a gross understatement
